The Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts stands at the pinnacle of the world’s venues for great opera and dance – and now for the world’s finest musical theatre. In the summer of 2010, Dancap begins the inaugural year of its summer residency downtown and a developing relationship with the Four Seasons Centre.
The Four Seasons Centre’s wonderful acoustics and great sightlines will raise the musical theatre experience to unprecedented levels of enjoyment for the public and transform the Broadway-style theatre experience.
Inaugurated in 2006, the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts is the first building of its kind in Canada; a theatre built specifically for opera and ballet performances with the finest level of acoustics. The contemporary expression of a traditional horseshoe-shaped auditorium provides unparalleled intimacy between the audience and the stage with every seat carefully evaluated for the best possible sightlines.
Designed by the award-winning Toronto-based firm Diamond and Schmitt Architects Inc., the Four Seasons Centre is the permanent home of the Canadian Opera Company and the performance venue for The National Ballet of Canada.

Then step behind the curtain of Canada’s first and only purpose-built opera house and walk in the footsteps of its greatest stars. Public Tours
Tickets for Public Tours can be purchased in advance online or at the Four Seasons Centre Box Office, 145 Queen Street West. Tickets will also be available on the morning of the tour starting at 10 a.m. at the welcome desk located in the main lobby.
